I like the Beastie Boys because they have some of the best drums in the
business, and I think the drums are a large part of the swing fad right
now. I've been known to play Quadrophenia and play along with a couple
of sticks on my Levis-clad leg, keeping up with Keith Moon just fine all
through and finding an appalling bruise the next morning. (But it
sounded just right, much better than one of those lame practice pads).
Drums are just basic to being human I guess.
