  MIT HandyBoard
  386 Laptop , now gutted and mother board/floppydrive 
  mounted under skin, screen + keyboard mounted on top.

Power - 2 12V 5Amp hour Gell cells , going through a homemade power 
 board(3 variable V regulators , 1 12V regulator) 

RF Link - Model Ariplane system converted.

Total cost ~2000$ very fuzzy though its just a guess.
Constructions time ~5 months and still counting
