The GS-2 is a robot based on a 10x20cm acryl glass plate driven by two Hitec HS-300 servos. It is controlled by a Basic Stamp IIsx mounted on my own carrier board. The servos are controlled by their own servo controller FT639. The robot is designed to follow lines with junctions and dead ends and to find the lightest spots on a playground (both for a contest). Problem is the servos don't run the same speed - doesn't look nice! Time to build was maybe 40 hours in a few weeks. Costs: 300DM (150US$) Visit my Web site http://www.gs-roboter.de to see a lot of pictures of my two robots GS-1 and GS-2. Email: gschwanz@yahoo.de
